Our Road Asset Team requires an experience Health Safety and Quality Managerto join their team in Stapylton Queensland. The role is responsible for the coordination, implementation and governance of Health and Safety programs, systems and processes while supporting operational teams.

About the Role
This a fast-paced role requiring your energy and commitment to drive SHEQ objects and targets. Your time will predominately be in office; however, you will be required on site regularly. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and implementing ongoing compliance to safety policies, procedures and processes
- Quality Management, including management plans overview and update and assurance of audit program
- Implementation of Critical Risk Protocols for each project and oversee health and safety related data and performance as related to the project
- Oversee the management of incident events, to ensure reporting process and content is consistent and that lessons learnt are shared
- Supporting the operational team in aspects of SHEQ to ensure continuous improvements, including developing, implementing and monitoring health and wellbeing programs
- Oversee people training compliance and competency
- Confirming and understanding of compliance with applicable Legislation, Standards and Codes of Practice
About You
Ideally you will have strong experience in civil construction and road maintenance or similar and be able to demonstrate your success in a similar position, be independent in thought with good investigative skills and a mindset to find the route cause in all matters.

- Cert IV Training and assessment, Traffic Management, Lead Auditor (preferred)
