Our People, Safety and Quality Team has a rare opportunity for a seasoned Health, Safety & Wellbeing professional who wants to work for a purpose driven organisation and shares our passion for the Safety and Wellbeing of our employees.
The role is responsible for managing, coordinating and facilitating the work, health and safety function across multiple worksites and a diverse workforce culture, providing leadership and continuous improvement in areas of expertise including wellbeing, workplace safety, health and injury management.
Reporting to the Head of People, Safety and Quality this role provides subject matter expertise to the business, including the Executive Team and up through to the Board in areas relating to wellbeing, workplace safety, health and injury management. A critical component of this role is the development and implementation of key strategic an operational initiatives linked to the WHS and Wellbeing Strategy and maintaining the WHS systems, policies and procedures in alignment with a people-centric approach and ensuring compliance with relevant safety legislation and standards.

- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a Health, Safety and Wellbeing function in a complex stakeholder environment across multiple worksites, and a diverse workforce culture.
- Experience in investigation techniques - Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving.
- Extensive experience with workers compensation claims management including claims lodgement, developing a claims and portfolio strategy.
- Extensive knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation.
- Proven experience in continuous improvements of Health and Safety Management Systems, including Wellbeing.
- Experience in developing and delivering health, Safety and Wellbeing education and training programs to diverse groups.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Current NDIS Worker Check / DHS Disability Employment Screening (or willing to obtain).
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved vaccine.
- Current Drivers Licence.
