Your new role
- Assist sites to apply knowledge to reduce H&S risk and prevent injury and illness
- Assist sites with hazard identification and risk assessment activities
- Maintenance of current risk registers and development and assessment of effective risk controls
- Contribute to the development and review of the HSE Management Standards
- Lead and support rigorous H&S Incident Investigations
- Lead safety awareness and compliance activities in the region
- Postgraduate qualifications in occupational health and safety, or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum of two years practical experience in Health & Safety role or similar discipline
- Ability to influence and drive change through H&S initiatives and programs
- Certificate IV in Training Assessment is desirable
- Previous experience in blue collar, high risk industry environments desirable Understanding and experience in working with transport, resource recovery and high-risk work, in particular High-Pressure Water Jetting, Confined Space Entry, Hazardous Chemical Management and Safe Work at Height
- Proven experience in leading complex incident investigation and root cause analysis
