The Role
Reporting into the health and safety manager your role will include:
- Responding to any internal health and safety enquiries
- Escalating complex matters to be handled by the manager
- Assist with location risk assessments and audits
- Uplift of health and safety frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Lead the uplift of health and safety information on the company intranet
- Get involved in psychosocial risk assessments
- Manage the health and safety database information
- Assist in any ISO certification uplifts
- Ad-Hoc duties as they come up in the team
This role is good for someone who has some experience in health and safety in Australia looking to get more involved in a broad role. Your background will include:
- 2 + years' experience in a similar position
- Qualifications in health and safety
- Experience with internal or external audits
- Consultative approach to addressing matters
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Drivers licence
