Bellequip is a Rockhampton based family owned and operated company whom specializes in the management, construction and delivery of: Road Works, Rail Formations, Drainage Structures, Services, Subdivisions, Land Based Redevelopments and Civil Construction projects.
Our team requires a suitably experienced Health & Safety, Environment, and Training Manager.
About the role
Primarily a Rockhampton based role, as an experienced professional you will be part of our business management team contributing to successful outcomes for our clients.

Your role will entail working proactively with the team to;
- Manage all HSET aspects of the Bellequip IBMS.
- Maintain IBMS System and prequalification status's.
- Perform technical writing and analysis to improve the IBMS.
- Achieve qualifications from external parties.
- Implement effective HSET strategies and plans.
- Compile project specific HSET documentation and plans to support tender bids and project implementation.
- Facilitate training, inductions, inspections, audits and incident investigations across all business operations.
- Facilitate and develop risk assessments in alignment with the company's schedule of works.
Our current work portfolio and future works includes; major road construction, drainage, concrete and bulk earthworks projects.

Skills and experience
Required (At least willing to obtain in the near future - negotiable on timeframes to gain qualifications);
- 4 years plus experience in similar roles.
- Minimum Diploma of WHS.
- Cert 4 in training and assessment – TAE40116.
- Qualified Drug and Alcohol tester (Breathalyzer and Swab).
- ICAM facilitator and lead investigator.
- Senior First Aid (with CPR).
- Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator.
- Management systems auditing qualification.
- A working knowledge of maintaining management systems in compliance with ISO standards and legislative requirements (Safety, Environment and Quality).
- Strong computer literacy.
- Have a methodical and organised approach to work.
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Team player attitude.
Preferred;
- Bachelor of OHS.
- Cert 4 in Environmental Management and Sustainability
- S1, S2, S3
- Licenses and qualifications for plant, equipment and high-risk work.
- Regulator approved; Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator
- Candidates local to Central Queensland are preferred, though other regions will be considered. (Remuneration package to be negotiated).
