We have a long heritage of bringing innovation and expertise, continuously working to contribute to the growth of society and our customers.About the roleWe are looking for a trusted Health & Safety and Wellbeing Manager who will be overseeing and heavily task to manage our Safety Management Systems and Injury Management of our Wellbeing strategy across our Oceania region.In this role you will be responsible for supporting the business to achieve its objectives by creating a positive employee safety and wellbeing experience, fostering an environment that supports proactive people-centred leadership practices, influencing and ensuring best practices are up to date and building capability across Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand.You will be an innovator who is passionate about the field of WHS and wellbeing. This role is part of our APAC HR team but also reporting into our Head of International Occupational H&S based in the UK. This is an exciting time to join Fujitsu, we are looking for someone who is willing to grow with the role as the function evolves, its important you have the credibility and expert knowledge within this field.To succeed you must also demonstrate the confidence to collaborate and engage with senior stakeholders across all lines of business. To succeed in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in managing and establishing workplace health, safety and workers compensation in corporate environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS and workers compensation or related area
- Experience of carrying out compliance auditing at all levels (ISO 45001 Auditor)
- Good at communicating, presentations, verbally, written and in corporate communications.
- High level of building effective relationships internally and externally.
- Proven customer focus with a range of management, employee and contractors.
- Proven ability to educate and coach a range of personnel.
- Process improvement and change management would be beneficial.
- Able to work independently and to tight deadlines
