We are looking for a Health Screening Technician (would suit exercise sport science background or similar) available to work in both our locations in the Lower Hunter to become a valued member of our team.
Experience in the below is preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided:
- Conducting screening for pre-employment medicals
- Vision, audiometric & spirometry testing
- Drug & alcohol screening
- Venepuncture
- ECG
- Functional capacity evaluations & musculoskeletal examinations
- Respirator fit tests
Required Skills:
- The ability to make accurate documentation of all relevant findings & ensuring timeframes & schedules are adhered to
- Computer literacy & excellent phone manner
- Drivers licence & own reliable transport
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Willingness to learn & adapt to different rolls within our company
The position is 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) working across both our Maitland & Broadmeadow locations. Our usual office hours are 9 - 5.
The position will also include:
- General administrative duties
- Ordering & restocking medical supplies
- Ensuring equipment & supplies are well maintained & accurate, eg. completing calibrations & checking expiry dates
- Adhering with privacy & confidentiality requirements
