About the role
Parkville Youth Justice Precinct (Parkville) is a 136-bed facility that accommodates children and young people aged 10 to 21 years to complete all health assessments before being transferred to Cherry Creek.
The Health Services Manager will assist the Operations Manager with the delivery of the Primary Care services at Parkville by offering clinical leadership and guidance to the team and the young people to deliver a holistic service that is responsive to need and compliant with all legislative requirements and best practice standards.

- Contribute to building a high-performing workforce that is trauma informed, safety and well-being focused, outcome orientated, collaborative, professional and person centred
- Facilitate an effective, high quality, and responsive clinical and wellbeing service in the custodial setting
- Manage the allocation of resources, workforce and reporting structures

- Demonstration of clinical experience in primary health or primary mental health setting Strong understanding and experience working in a social determinants framework and in working with marginalised and disadvantaged communities
All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses).
Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement (B). This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
