Our Business is expanding, we’re looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join us at our Beverley Mine location. We require someone proficient in maintaining a variety of Heavy Diesel machinery including earth moving equipment, underground mining machinery, construction vehicles and construction equipment.
Duties include, however not limited to the following:
- Mechanical maintenance, installations and project activities including Preventative maintenance tasks.
- Drill rig repairs and maintenance, conduct diagnostic fault findings.
- Maintain generators fixed and mobile plant equipment.
- Complete work orders and inspections of equipment
- Records maintenance and WHS compliance activities.
- Ensuring all equipment and tools are safely and properly maintained.
- Ensuring all equipment, spare parts and consumables are requested in a timely manner.
To be the best at what we do, we seek people who are best at what they do and who take pride in their work. You must be a capable self-starter, a problem solver, who is well organised and puts safety first every time. A trade qualified Diesel Mechanic / Fitter, you will also ideally have:
- Valid HR Licence
- Recent experience in a remote mining or civil work environment.
- Background in service and repair of light vehicles, trucks, mining and earthmoving equipment.
- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, DG).
- Good diagnostic skills and a can-do attitude
