Ozland are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our WA operations team. In this role, the successful applicants will be working on Caterpillar MD Series 6250, Atlas Copco and Epiroc D65s, T45s and Pit Vipers.
About the role
- Undertaking risk and pre-task assessments
- Conducting routine maintenance and breakdowns across a variety of drills
- Diagnosing and fault finding hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
- Management of documentation and reporting as per client and company requirements
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years post trade experience working on drills
- Must be safety conscious
- Full Australian working rights
- Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Australian C Class driver's licence (HR Preferred)
- Proven experience in breakdowns, servicing and maintenance on a variety of drill rigs
- Experience in heavy mobile plant maintenance will also be considered for this role
- Strong safety focus with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting/interpretive skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Recent National Police Clearance
