Toll People are currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our teams in Karratha and Port Hedland. These are full-time positions with NEW RATES & HOUSING, fantastic benefits, and the opportunity to work on one of the most extensive logistics fleets in the country.

What Does a Day as a Toll Diesel Mechanic Look Like?

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy Diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
• Ordering and replacing parts as needed
• Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members

Our Key Skills and Experience

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar
• Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
• Demonstrated experience working on Heavy Diesel machinery
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to workplace safety
