SalaryFull Time or Part-time position for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic within a well established company specializing in providing quality vehicles to the general public based in the Toowoomba region. For a heavy vehicle mechanic, truck mechanic, diesel fitter or a bus mechanic interested in maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles.

- Salary guide $40 - $45 Per hour
- Toowoomba region
A normal day includes
- Work between 30 - 40 hours per week as a Part time or Full time employee.
- The role is servicing and handling minor defects such as seat belts and lights replacements on buses. The role is not on call, you get to go home every day (no over night stays)
- The work is relatively stress free
- You'll most of the time be in the workshop but from time to time you might be off on a roadside break down or assisting the team in other workshops in the area.
- Completing general paperwork
- Keeping the workshop neat and tidy
- Ensuring all defects are rectified in a timely manner
- Completing all maintenance work in accordance with scheduled requirements
- Managing maintenance costs and stock

You will need
- Prior experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Correct trade qualifications
- Queensland Drivers Authority (Advantageous)
- Heavy Vehicle License
- Have a commitment to OH&S and Workplace safety
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills
