About the Role
As a Full-Time Diesel Technician with Hino, you will be working in a small team performing service, diagnosis and repairs on all sized trucks. If you are an Auto Mechanic looking to upskill to diesel, we are also keen to hear from you as a house technical training would be provided, as would the opportunity to gain an additional trade qualification in HGV / diesel technology. The role is based at our Regency Park site.
Your main responsibilities
- Repairs, service and inspections to engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs etc. on a wide range of Heavy & Light trucks
- Diagnostic analysis using the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment.
- Produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out on repair orders, including supplies used and recommendations in a prioritised order
- Provide support and guidance to Apprentice mechanics / mechanics / trade assistants.
Skills & experience
- Mechanical trade certificate
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ideally driver’s licence
- A current HR/HC drivers licence an advantage but not essential
