Working with our Asset Manager and Maintenance Coordinator, this role will involve servicing and repairs to our fleet of trucks, trailers, light vehicles and equipment in our workshop in Mackay.
We are operating the following truck fleet:
- Kenworth (primary prime mover)
- Isuzu (primary body truck)
- Western Star
- Volvo
Your will be responsible for :
- All general servicing tasks
- Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fleet and ensure readiness for annual machinery inspections.
- Maintain quality and urgency in work performed
- Responding to unscheduled maintenance off site call outs required out of normal business hours
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant Trade qualification
- Proven experience is a similar role
- Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
- A valid HC Driver’s Licence (desired but not essential)
- High level of Initiative, reliability and ability to work independently
- A Strong adherence to quality control
