About the Role - Helpdesk Technician:

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Helpdesk Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' IT systems. As a Helpdesk Technician at Impact ICT, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse technologies, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional support to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote assistance.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support activities, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the knowledge base and share insights to improve overall team efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Certificate IV in Information Technology or similar including studying towards completion of a similar qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role is highly valued but not required.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
    • Knowledge of common business applications and tools.
    • Familiar with Microsoft 365 suite of products and services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Identity etc.
    • Familiar with PowerShell.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
