The Role
We are currently looking for a full time Service Technician to provide servicing and inspection on the operation of High-Pressure Compressors. You will be reporting to a highly experienced Team Lead who has been with company for over twenty years. In this role you will provide servicing and inspection of High-Pressure equipment including Breathing Air Compressor Units and Breathing Apparatus. In this role you will assist your manager on servicing pneumatic & hydraulic systems in accordance with client's specifications and requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- On/off site mechanical work on High Pressure air systems and various mechanical equipment
- Routine inspection, survey and repairs of low-pressure air systems
- Maintenance and servicing of customer and company equipment
- General mechanical/warehouse duties
- Compliance with customer & company policies and regulation
- Presenting a positive image of the company at all times
- Ensuring all operations are conducted in a safe, efficient and effective manner
- Other duties as requested by your manager
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
- HVAC experience desirable
- Attention to detail and excellent fault-finding ability
- Confidence in using a computer or other computer mobile devices
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A valid drivers licence
- A willingness to travel to meet customer servicing and repair requirements
- Permanent citizen of Australia to be eligible for security clearances
- Electrical knowledge desirable
- Forklift licence desirable
- White card - general induction card desirable
