Form of workSITS College, RTO 91533, is hiring a Trainer/Assessor to deliver RII60520 - Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design.
Tasks Will Include:
- As a Trainer/Assessor, you will be responsible for training and assessing International and Domestic students enrolled in the relevant scope.
- To prepare, deliver and monitor student progress and Maintain student files.
- Support student training plans with the relevant documents and records to maintain compliance,
- Ensure compliance of auditing requirements
- Attend all set staff meetings including moderation and validation sessions
- Undertake a minimum of 6 professional development activities per calendar year with 3 related to industry and 3 related to VET skills and knowledge
Skills & Experience Industry experience of:
- senior civil works designers or para-professional designers who support professional engineers
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, etc
- Preparing and reviewing detailed civil drawings for different types of land and urban development
- Preparing sketches, calculations, specifications, reports, plans and designs for stormwater drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems, pavement plans, road crossovers, roads, bridges and other structures
Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design or higher
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116), or its successor*, or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
