Reporting to the Head of Home and community Care, we’re seeking a Home Care Manager to oversee the Lower Hunter and Central Coast NSW hub. Within this pivotal role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with their dynamic teams to enhance and expand the Home care services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our clients whilst maintaining a positive reputation in the community.
The role
- Oversight of local business performance and operations
- Financial performance and growth including annual budget creating, management and forecasting
- Team performance & management, payroll oversight, local recruitment, staff contracts, police checks, identify and support training requirements, all staff issues
- Manage Compliance documentation and requirements
- Medicare claims,
- Quality Assurance/ Continuous Quality Improvement
- formal / business promotional identification, arrangements & attendances,
- Student placement management
- Must be part of on call roster to manage operational needs of organisation
- Manage brokered services/ outside catchment area review
- In person support of teams currently based in Hawkins with expected expansion
- Extensive proven industry management experience
- Tertiary qualifications of in management, finance, nursing or similar
- Current drivers’ licence (essential)
- NDIS Screen
- National Police Check (essential)
- Ability to travel to various hubs and work out of home office locations (approx. 60%)
- Comprehensive experience in leading a diverse team across multiple sites
- Management competence in organisation/change management, financial management, human resources and external stakeholder management.
