Disability and Aged Care Support Worker

We welcome people who are new to the disability and Aged care industry and we support you with training, mentoring and guide you to achieve your qualifications. You only need to have a desire to learn; a passion and drive to work with people.
Weekdays and weekend work available. Weekend rated up to $65.00 per hour depending on your experience and qualifications.
Flexibility of rostering for a work life balance. weekday work and part time weekend work required.
Area: Coolum to Landsborough.

About us:
Advanced Care Australia is a small community in-Home Care support provider based on the Sunshine Coast. We service areas from Noosa to North Brisbane/ Redcliffe areas. Advanced Care Australia was founded in 2003 by sisters Linda Summerton and Janet Gibbins with the goal of improving our clients' independence and quality of life. They commenced the company due to the inability to find suitable supports for their father at the time.
Advanced Care prides itself in being client centred, and providing exceptional care and staff.
About the Role:
On a daily basis, your primary responsibility will be to provide in-home, community care for our diverse clientele, which includes people with disabililites and aged care clients.
We do not have a lot of long cleaning shifts as we do not have CHSP funding. Instead, Staff are able to focus on client needs on a daily bases.
We are looking for candidates with flexible schedules who are willing to work weekdays and part time weekend hours.

- Medication Assist
- Social Support
- Companionship
- Minimal Domestic Assistance
Role Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent or willing to commence studies.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card - P)
- National Police Check
- NDIS Commission Worker Orientation Module
- Right to Work in Australia – e.g., Visa showing work approval – if applicable
- Open Australian Drivers License
- Reliable Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
Desirable but not Required:
- Experience or qualifications. We will train you. We have found wonderful staff through this model.
