Form of workABOUT THE ROLES: We are seeking Home Care Workers and Domestic Assistants to support our (primarily Aged) clients living at home in the inner Eastern and South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our clients by enabling them to live independently at home.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assistance with personal care
- Domestic assistance
- Assisted shopping/client appointments
- Respite care
- Meal preparation
Casual work is currently available Monday to Friday, with some weekend work. Where possible, successful applicants will be rostered to a specific geographic / local government area with the aim to limit travel.
ABOUT YOU:
We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently or expect to be available for casual work ongoing. To be successful in the Home Care Worker role, candidates will require the following:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Home Care, Individual Support or equivalent
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
To be successful in the Domestic Assistant role, it is desirable to have:
- Previous professional experience in home based Domestic Assistance duties
- Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
