$70,000 - $90,000 per annum + super
Duties
- Provide strong leadership to hotel staff, including hiring, training, and managing performance to ensure a high level of service and guest satisfaction.
- Take the lead on planning, coordinating overseeing all hotel events including meetings, conferences, weddings, and other special events. Ensure that events are executed smoothly and meet the expectations of clients.
- Oversee the operation of the hotel bar, including inventory management, staff supervision, and adherence to responsible alcohol service practices.
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, administration, and events management.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing guest concerns, implementing service improvements, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Develop and manage the hotel's budget, including revenue management, expense control, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff by implementing and enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and brand standards.
Skills and experience required
- Hospitality Management or related qualification, or work experience in lieu
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability goals
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, events management, and bar management
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible hours available
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role

- Expected salary: $80,000 per year
