Purple Support is on the lookout for a House Coordinator to bolster our coordinator team, overseeing service delivery for our participants in Darwin. This pivotal role entails collaborating with participants, stakeholders, government bodies, allied health professionals, support workers, and our management team. You'll be instrumental in assisting participants to achieve their goals, focusing on custom/person-centred care, and fostering a harmonious team environment. The role demands proactive engagement with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external. You'll be delegated with managing your participant portfolio, ensuring seamless operations aligned with our core values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mentor, coach, and oversee team leaders and support staff through consistent engagement and professional development.
- Enhance business capabilities to effectively manage services through proficient program and project management.
- Offer strategic insights and operational guidance to the Leadership Team.
- Oversee team performance, monitoring, and reporting on key areas, programs, and compliance needs.
- Design, evaluate, and revise support plans for participants.
- Spearhead value-driven initiatives for participant and workforce solutions.
- Foster and sustain impactful relationships across internal teams and diverse external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication with multiple stakeholders to promote collaboration and responsiveness.
- Ensure NDIS participants' needs are promptly addressed.
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture, championing professionalism and responsiveness.
- Lead business enhancement aligned with Purple Support's objectives.
- Continually refine participant services for enhanced efficiency and quality.
- Establish and uphold administrative systems to streamline service delivery.
- Conduct routine service audits to uphold Purple Support's standards.
- Adopt a person-centred approach, guiding teams in assisting service users towards NDIS goals.
- Ensure timely completion of necessary reporting and documentation.
- Offer after-hours support to the services team as needed.
- Efficiently manage team rosters.
Selection Criteria:
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in community health, Mental Health, or a related field; or significant experience in a House Coordinator or managerial role within the Disability sector.
- Proven experience in an Aboriginal community/health/disability service with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with Aboriginal Australians.
- Profound understanding and practical experience with community-based supports within a person-centred practice framework.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including its application, participant safeguards, and NDIA participant plan purpose.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams, workflows, and team coordination/supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive both within a team setting and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Required Documentation (or willingness to obtain):
- Valid Full Driver's License.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Police Check.
- Completion of NDIS worker orientation Module Certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
