About Us
Hummingbird House is Queensland's only children's hospice, and one of only three children's hospices in Australia. We provide specialised paediatric palliative care services to babies, children and young people with a life-limiting condition, helping them make every moment precious when life is short.

About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the Hummingbird House Housekeeping program. This will require you to coordinate the volunteer housekeepers and ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests and families. This is a varied role which could include cleaning, laundering, general equipment maintenance and ordering supplies. Key Responsibilities
Maintain Family Apartments and Care Floor Rooms to achieve prescribed health and hygiene standards
Liaise with the Clinical Staff to ensure room availability and housekeeping services meet guest and family needs
Support, assist and guide Supported Employees and Volunteer Staff to carry out Housekeeping duties
Assist with preparation and clean-up associated with special events
