Discover Stradbroke manages a boutique collection of short term holiday rental properties that vary from 1 to 5 bedroom houses and apartments. We know that cleaning & presentation are critical to both owners and guests.
That’s why we take total responsibility for the guest’s experience by delivering Housekeeping services ourselves, in house. The buck stops with us.
You will work closely with our Property and Guest Services Managers, and be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide 60 holiday rental houses with full housekeeping services
- Recruit, roster and manage teams of in-house cleaners
- Manage maintenance issues in tandem with Property Manager
- Strong focus on costs including labour and stock control
- Recruitment & Training, and OHS compliance experience a priority
- Attention to detail to present our properties with style and flair
Qualifications & experience
- Management experience in a relevant senior role. Previous Supervisor or Head Housekeeping role viewed favourably.
- Attention to detail in property presentation and have impecable cleaning standards
- Workplace Health and Safety compliance experience and a sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- High level communication skills - written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement on the job training
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet set deadlines
- Available to work some weekends during school holidays
