Housekeepers
Wajarri Enterprises Limited (WEL) is the Corporate Arm for the Wajarri Yamaji Group which comprises the Wajarri Yamaji Aboriginal Corporation, the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) for the Wajarri Yamaji People of the Gascoyne/Murchison region of Western Australia and the WWBL Trust (Winja Wajarri Barna Limited). The Wajarri Yamaji native title determination is one of the largest in Western Australia.
WEL have entered into a joint venture with Ventia to manage the SKAO Telescope Project construction camp, Nyingari Ngurra Village. The Project is an international effort to build the world’s largest and most capable radio astronomy observatory, designed to enable transformational science that will change our understanding of the universe.
The Ventia WEL JV are looking for housekeepers to join our team at the Village.
- 14 day on/7 day off roster.
- Meals and accommodation supplied on site.
- Travel to and from site provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a fast and efficient cleaning service throughout the Village.
- Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Comply with all site procedures and standards, observing safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Cleaning experience desirable but training can be provided.
- Commitment to the roster arrangement.
- Passion for hospitality management and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates must be willing to participate in the following:
- National Police Check
- Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
- Site specific induction and onsite training
