About the role:
YHA is seeking a part-time Maintenance Officer to join our team in the heart of Fremantle! We're looking for someone who is able to support the property with general maintenance and repairs as well as taking preventative actions.
What your day will look like?
- Performing good-quality corrective & preventative maintenance;
- Minor paint and gyprock repairs;
- Minor plumbing and tiling;
- Maintaining plant rooms, switch rooms, and some outdoor areas;
- Performing thorough weekly building & plant inspections.
What are we looking for?
- Background in accommodation maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence
- Must have full Australian Working Rights
- Willingness to jump in and support your team mates with a can-do attitude
- Solutions focused with the ability to work independently and as a team.
