Job Description

The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic Housing Service Advisor/Receptionist to work in our Shorewell Park Office. 

The role is the first point of contact for customers and other stakeholders to ensure their inquiries are channelled to the right members of the team. The role is critical for the delivery of customer service and responsible for an array of administration duties vital to the functioning of the office and the team.

The position requires the successful candidate to have a strong attention to detail, be an effective telephone communicator and possess strong administrative skills.

The position is a full-time ongoing role based in Shorewell Park. The role will ideally suit a person who is passionate about delivering good client service, can work collaboratively within a team, is organised with excellent attention to detail, is resilient and grounded in quality practices and is able to adhere to our organisational values.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and confidence to learn and use other systems 
  • Previous administrative/secretarial/reception experience 
  • Experience answering incoming calls and emails and the ability to triage customer requests efficiently 
  • Experience delivering high-quality and efficient administrative work.   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Experience or ability to handle challenging conversations with clients over the phone and in the office.
  • Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities

  • Agree and comply with Child Safety policies and procedures
  • Provide a current driver’s license and willingness to travel across Housing Choices’ locations, if and as required.
