ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position working a 9 day fortnight roster DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury 35 minutes and other nearby scenic communities.
As the Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the operational HR function at the Worsley Asset. Supporting the HR processes related to the management of our people, this role manages the system related activity, as well as provides line leader support for the effective management of human resources.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
• Maintains local HR Portals, including uploading new or updated policies, procedures, templates & standards.
• Responds to employee inquiries about low-level policy interpretation.
• Raises HRBP e-forms, monitoring completion with the HR Support team as well as supporting more general HR transactions for the operation/function Organisation data maintenance, including the review and rectification of master data errors; multiple incumbents, position and the maintaining of employee and position data. Deliver month end and ad hoc HR reporting requirements.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Sound understanding of Human Resources practices and methodologies, with some understanding of relevant industrial relations instruments.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise work effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written and ability to solve problems.
• Strong focus on customer service, building relationships and working with others.
• Strong attention to detail, maintaining accurate information and identifying error's in information.
Qualifications for this position are:
• Strong computer skills, sound understanding of MS Office suite of products and applications.
• Experience with enterprise systems including Success Factors, EC, SAP, HCM (desirable)
• Customer service orientated role previously, ideally in the Human Resources function (preferred).
