Hr Advisor

Think Safe Solutions is an independent Indigenous safety and human resources (HR) consulting company. Our team provide advice and guidance in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes that adhere to legislation while improving workplace performance.

Due to an increase in clientele, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis.

About the role:

In this role, you will provide HR consulting and administrative services to multiple client portfolios, across a broad spectrum of HR functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess HR requirements for clients and provide advice and make recommendations to improve systems and processes within their business.
• Develop, implement and review HR policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and industry awards.
• Support clients in the development, implementation and training of HR systems and other strategies to meet their business needs.
• Provide advice and support to a variety of clients on all HR matters.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various clients.
• Assist with processing payroll transactions accurately and efficiently for Think Safe Solutions.
• Support the review of HSEQ policies and procedures, where required.
• Other general administrative functions. 

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, or equivalent (essential).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a HR advisory role or similar.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients at all levels.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting Modern Awards.
• Strong attention to detail and able to produce work that is accurate and timely.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
