We are collaborating with a prestigious university to find a dynamic HR Advisor for a temporary position. In this role, you will provide high-level operational support and handle various administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include managing staff enquiries promptly and troubleshooting issues related to the HRIS system and other platforms as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity to support the university, collaborate with the broader HR team, and make a significant impact. The position is full-time temporary for 3 months until the end of September and offers a flexible hybrid working model.
The Role:
- Efficiently manage a high volume of general HR queries, ensuring timely resolutions
- Provide expert support for troubleshooting the HRIS system
- Skilfully prepare and amend contracts as needed
- Ensure compliance by verifying Working with Children’s Checks and visas
- Analyse HR report data and share valuable insights with the team
- Offer strategic advice on HR matters, including processes, leave, backfill, and complaints
- Accurately perform HRIS data entry and maintenance
- Take on additional ad hoc support tasks to keep things running smoothly
- Proven experience in a similar role within a large organisation
- Versatile HR Generalist experience
- Skilled in reviewing and enhancing processes and systems
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with all Microsoft packages and HRIS systems
- Embraces an open-minded, can-do attitude
