Who we're looking for:We are currently looking to add to our NSW HR team with the appointment of a Senior
HR Advisor. This is an opportunity for someone who is looking to utilise their skills and experience within a progressive and innovative environment.Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will work closely with both managers and employees across our NSW business. The role will advise and promote people practices across the region, while also assisting in the implementation of nationally driven initiatives. Encompassing general HR activities such as strategic HR management, employee casework, stakeholder management, policy/procedure compliance and cyclical HR activities, you will be a part of a broader, multidisciplinary HR team (Learning & Culture, Talent, Systems and our other regional operational teams) who all understand the importance of a collaborative, focused and results driven working environment.To be considered for this role, we want someone who has a passion for HR and people and can bring energy and motivation to the team. Other important skills include: tertiary qualifications in HR (or a related discipline); prior HR experience; someone who is a self-starter; someone with demonstrated HRIS experience (here we use Workday); the ability to influence and challenge respectfully where appropriate; a great communicator and someone who can resolve complex HR issues. As the role will have direct reports, it's expected you will have demonstrated experience managing a small team.This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
