The opportunity:
This is an entry level, 6 month contract role (with a view to permanent after the initial contract period), 3 Days Per Week. The opportunity will suit someone who is currently studying Human Resources or willing to undertake studies in this area. It is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others whilst making a positive difference. You will be an all-round, integral part of our HR team to achieve results whilst working approximately 22.80 hours each week.
Ideally the working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, however we may be flexible for the right candidate.
Based at our head office in Bowral, the person we are seeking will need to possess the following attributes:
Skills and experience:
- Relevant studies in Human Resources or willing to undertake
- Strict attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks
- Strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Friendly demeanour and positive attitude
- Quick learner with above average IT skills
- Have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in NDIS or Aged Care Industry well regarded
Key responsibilities:
- To champion and promote our mission statement, values and behaviours
- Assist in recruiting, records administration, compliance and incident reporting
- Candidate administration including screening, calling and arranging interviews
- Ability to follow up on documentation
- Ability to follow procedures in a methodical manner
- Comfortable to make calls to request documentation or follow up
- Assist with reporting
- Monitor email accounts
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to write procedural documentation or willingness to learn
- Data integrity including accuracy, maintenance and consistency (naming conventions)
- Booking appointments including reviews, meetings etc
