JOB SUMMARY:
Assists Textron Aviation APAC (mainly Australia and Singapore) internal customers to provide guidance and support with processes, communications, policies, procedures, and services for a wide variety of human resources activities. This role is part-time, 30 hours per week minimum, and it is located in Jandakot.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers inquiries regarding policies, procedures, practices, training, and communications.
- Investigates and responds to issues and provides transactional support as needed.
- Partner with HR specialists in areas such as, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Services, and Talent and Development to maximize program and service delivery to the employee population
- Manages recruitment process including posting job req on various platforms, screening of candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Supports the annual performance management and merit increase process.
- Responsible for submission and/or completion of various HR-related transactional tasks; such as, employee data changes and other correspondence, recordkeeping and maintenance related to employee personnel and training records.
- Manages employees onboarding.
- Prepares employment contracts, salary variation letters, certificates of employment, end of probation letters, training agreements, and other letters/documents as required
- Conducts exit interviews and manages offboarding
- Manages relationships with polytechnics for internships and with training organizations for apprenticeships
- Manages timesheets and liaises with payroll to communicate pay variations.
- Manages employee benefits, and related administrative tasks.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in human resource core principle knowledge (via education or previously held positions), customer service, or administrative support
- Level based on relevant experience and manager’s discretion
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintain strict confidentiality with employee information
- Thorough knowledge of Australian labour laws. Knowledge of Singapore labour law preferred
- Must work independently with minimal guidance and manage workload/priorities as appropriate
- Bias for action to complete numerous phone calls and emails daily
- Verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment
- Bias for customer service – proactive communication to customers and team members, delivers on commitments, and is knowledgeable and accurate regarding expertise
- Exceptional PC skills; including MS Office. Taleo and Peoplesoft knowledge preferred
- Maintain professional relationships and commitment through contribution, flexibility, and positive attitude
This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week minimum.
