Job Description: As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical practice. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient functioning of all administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the practice. You will work closely with general practitioners, nursing, and administrative staff to maintain a cohesive team and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Management: Coordinate and supervise administrative staff, including receptionists, schedulers, and medical records personnel. Oversee patient scheduling, registration, and billing processes to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Manage the practice's financial operations, including budgeting, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Implement strategies to maximize revenue, minimize expenses, and ensure compliance with billing and coding regulations.
- Human Resources: Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction. Handle employee relations issues and performance management as needed.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices. Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant practice environment. Monitor quality metrics and patient satisfaction surveys to identify areas for improvement.
- Technology and Systems Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Best Practice, and other technology solutions. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve practice efficiency and patient care delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives to support practice growth and sustainability. Analyze market trends, competition, and patient demographics to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration, with previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and reimbursement processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Best Practice, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
