Patritti are a proud family business, established in 1926. Located in Dover Gardens, we are the last remaining fully operational family-owned winery in suburban Adelaide. Patritti package more than 300,000 cases of wine and juice products for our domestic and export markets as well as supplying contract services to a number of third-party wine and beverage companies We have a position available for a Senior Finance Officer based at our Dover Gardens winery. This is a permanent full-time role to suit someone who is looking for a challenge and long-term career.
Qualifications & experience
- Experienced Finance Officer with end-to-end payroll processing and accounts to trial balance.
- Experience providing finance support in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SAP Business strongly preferred or worked with double entry systems.
- Experience of working in the wine industry an advantage.
- Ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and a team player
- High level Microsoft Suite product experience, Excel at intermediate level.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Processing invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements and accurate payment of accounts payable,
- Processing cash receipts and collections of accounts receivable to meet budgeted DSO,
- Matching of purchase orders and receipt of goods, reconciling GRN (Goods Received not Invoiced) account.
- Reconciling subsidiary ledgers to control accounts in the system.
- Reconciling various balance sheet accounts and investigating any discrepancies
- Managing and processing payroll, with the interpretation of relevant awards, superannuation, payroll tax & legislated Workcover requirements
- Reconciliation of payroll creditors, Superannuation payments and indirect taxes.
- Daily bank reconciliation including cellar door transactions, credit card and debtor transactions with the updating of daily cashflow forecast.
- Monthly BAS lodgements, recycling and wet tax compliance
- Reporting of discrepancies of actuals vs budget.
- Assisting Finance & Administration Manager with budget process.
- Continuous improvements and streamlining of processes.
Training & Qualifications
- 3-5 years in a role of similar experience
- Certificate/Diploma in Accounting.
