So, we are seeking a confident and enthusiastic person who share our values - Think Sharp, Dig In and Care - to join our high performing team. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders to provide timely and accurate advice and support across a broad range of HR functions.
About the Role
- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver a positive and professional employee experience by providing effective HR advice.
- Build relationships with both operational and support teams and act as a true Business Partner to support the delivery of people initiatives that aligns to the HVO strategy.
- Mentor Leaders on best practice, compliant and supportive approaches to managing their workforce for high performance and strong engagement.
- Lead HR projects with exceptional attention to detail and stakeholder engagement.
- Support organisational effectiveness solutions and initiatives that will contribute to building a high-performance culture.
- Provide accurate and timely people management advice to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
- Coach and upskill leaders in performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance resolution.
- Provide leadership and coaching to your direct report.
Roster and Location
- Monday to Friday dayshift roster
- Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)
About You
- Proven experience in a HR role with a comprehensive knowledge of HR related functions including leadership development, culture, performance management and recruitment.
- Working knowledge of state and federal employment legislation.
- Ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture with resilience around change.
- A strong commitment to delivering high quality HR outcomes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal influencing, coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- Demonstrated experience using Workday/SAP or other HRIS system experience.
- Relevant degree/ qualification in HR or other relevant qualification or related experience
