About The Role:
This is an 8-month contract role where the successful candidate will report to the People & Culture Manager and will be responsible for the delivery of customised human resource solutions and consultancy to maximise capability. The role delivers expert advice to sustain or improve business performance and processes. The role will act as the single point of contact for People & Culture, incorporating other specialist areas as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience
Some key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Partner effectively with the business, providing consultancy, advice and support across all people practices as required to meet identified business needs in line with Opteon’s strategy.
- Provide specialty advice in areas of Organisational Design, Industrial & Employee Relations, Talent Management, Attraction & Retention, Employee Engagement and Remuneration
- Coach leaders to enhance their leadership capability
- Analyse and interpret data and metrics to provide insights that will assist the business in making informed decisions
About you:
We are seeking a HR Business Partner who can bring with them their excellent problem solving and decision making skills to join our close knit team. In addition, you will have:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management is desirable
- Demonstrated experience working in HR advisory field
- Experience leading and/or managing HR Projects
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices, including workplace investigation, performance management, employment related legislations
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and an ability to prioritise
- Drive, initiative & self-motivation
- Good facilitation/training/presentation skills
- Workday experience will be advantageous
