Opportunity for a talented HR Professional to join a large and well established HR team, providing service to the workforce that serve our community.About the role:The Senior Human Resource (HR) Business Partner contributes to a high performing culture by working closely with Executives and Managers to provide advice and support to assist them build an effective and sustainable workforce that aligns with SALHN's strategic, operational and performance goals. The role coordinates the development and implementation of HR solutions, aligned with business objective, which address key workforce challenges for the short, medium and long-term. The role will promote HR best practices and SA Government people management principles and policies to achieve organisational success.The Senior HR Business Partner maintains an in depth understanding of their account management area's workforce profile, key priorities, business strategies and workforce trends to support the provision of relevant and constructive advice and support services.The role does include team leader responsibilities for the HR Business Consultant in their account management area.Day to day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
  • Reviewing and interpreting industrial instruments/policies/guidelines to provide generalist advice on all HR matters;
  • Providing advice on and supporting managers with performance management processes;
  • Undertaking investigations, and briefing the findings to the respective delegates for their consideration;
  • Preparing letters to employees, relating to end-to-end disciplinary processes;
  • Providing advice to managers with employee's who have a non-work related medical condition, which is impacting their ability to perform their role, and following processes to seek medical information on how to support employee, in such circumstances;
  • Providing advice on Change Management and Consultation Processes; and
  • Training on matters including respectful behaviours, performance management and recruitment and selection.
