An exciting opportunity exists for a full time HR Business Partner in our Albury branch.
Watters Electrical is the largest and longest standing electrical contracting company servicing North East Victoria, Goulburn Valley and Southern NSW. Watters Electricals' geographical influence ranges over hundreds of kilometres, providing electrical services in all aspects of the electrical industry.
Watters Electrical proudly employs approximately 250 local people, we are also one of the largest employers of apprentices in the region, providing young locals the opportunity to join the electrical industry in the form of an electrical apprenticeship.
We are seeking a passionate, energetic individual who is committed to providing an effective professional service. The role will be responsible for delivering high quality HR support and advice on employee matters and supporting the operational teams with functional services. Specific focus on recruitment, transactional HR services, and apprentice and trade performance management and co-ordination, working with the support of the Shepparton based HR team.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Work closely with the Senior and Operations Management teams to ensure compliance with all HR Regulations.
- Co-Ordinate the implementation and recording of all training requirements.
- Maintain contact with, and regularly review all apprentices and trades for the Albury branch.
- Prepare and implement Policy and Procedure development.
- Manage Workers Compensation claims and employee review including RTW plans.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding for the Albury branch.
- Maintain HR information systems and data bases to manage employee records.
- Assist the OH&S Manager with incident management processes.
- Help with tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth and productive operation of the Albury depot.

- Experience in HR Employee Management
- Experience in recruitment & selection.
- Strong administration, organisational and processing skills
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
