Role Summary:In this pivotal position, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in evolving the HR framework of the company. Your responsibilities will include the introduction and improvement of HR systems, updating HR policies and procedures, and overseeing employee compensation and benefits. This role demands a commitment to remote fieldwork to engage with and understand the unique needs of a diverse workforce.
Core Responsibilities:- HR Systems Leadership: Spearhead the introduction and refinement of HR systems to enhance efficiency and simplify operations.
- Policies and Procedures Update: Collaboratively update HR policies and procedures with stakeholders to reflect industry standards and organizational objectives.
- Fieldwork Engagement: Participate in remote fieldwork to directly support and understand the challenges of field-based team members.
- Compensation and Benefits Oversight: Manage and develop competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Strategic HR Consultation: Offer strategic HR guidance within a flat organizational structure to foster a culture of openness and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in HR, including 3 years in a generalist capacity, with preference given to candidates with Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in HR systems deployment and policy renewal.
- Willingness and ability to conduct remote fieldwork and connect with employees across various sites.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a history of successful teamwork.
- A proactive mindset, able to excel in a flat organizational structure and lead HR initiatives.
