Our People & Capability (HR) team play a pivotal role in supporting all people and departments at NTI in relation to recruitment, onboarding, career development, training, succession planning, WHS, team member relations and more! Reporting to the Head of People and Capability, we are looking for a pragmatic, commercial and passionate HR Business Partner to join our team! You’ll work closely with the leaders of the business to understand organisational and people requirements and delivery of the people strategy.  With approximately 500 team members nationally, you’ll work alongside another Business Partner, our Recruitment Specialists and our P & C support team to deliver an exceptional people experience. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support people leaders and team members through the end to end employee lifecycle
  • Provide advice, guidance and support on a broad range of complex HR issues, including employee and industrial relations
  • Work as a trusted advisor to leaders through coaching, improving leadership capability and working alongside them to achieve business goals
  • Lead and/or support the roll out of P & C initiatives including employee engagement, benefits, HR technology, succession planning and more
  • Manage cyclical HR reporting on a range of people metrics
  • Remain up to date on current employment legislation and HR trends to ensure compliance across all areas of HR, WHS and policies

What we’ll love about you:

You will have extensive experience operating as a HR Business Partner, with strong employee and industrial relations skills. You will have a balanced approach, able to be pragmatic, empathetic and commercial where required. As a natural communicator, you will build strong relationships with your stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner to our Leaders. In addition, you will:

  • Be tertiary qualified in Human Resources or Business Management 
  • Have the ability to negotiate, influence and gain credibility with your stakeholders
  • Be a proactive problem solver and with the ability to think outside the square
  • Have strong leadership coaching experience with a proven track record of building leadership capability in previous roles
  • Experience working in a national, multi-site environment would be highly regarded
