Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Lead in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data integration processes that ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralised data warehouse.
- Develop, maintain, and take ownership of existing data pipelines ensuring their smooth operation and troubleshooting any issues.
- Innovate Data Engineering approaches and identify opportunities for improvements for HR data strategy and management, using new technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams and workforce analysts to understand requirements and translate them into efficient data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and security within the pipelines by implementing robust data quality checks and validation processes to maintain integrity.
- Document and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience:
Highly Desirable
- Database design & data modelling.
- Microsoft SQL Server database 2012 or higher BI Services suite.
- Expert knowledge of TSQL, Oracle PL/SQL & ETL.
- Expert knowledge of Python or R Script.
- SDLC methodologies, AGILE.
- Sound understanding of Analytics trends & data governance methodologies.
- Advanced level knowledge of data manipulation and integration.
- Big Data Technologies.
- Knowledge of .NET framework and C#.
