About the role
The Bondi Sands HR team are multi-disciplinary, supporting the business worldwide but with a strong focus on our market-leading AU/NZ business. It is a full facet strategic, tactical and operational function, endeavouring to support the achievement of the business’s objectives by providing excellent service and trusted advice.
The HR Partner will act as a strong support to the Director of HR through the
delivery of best practice, innovative and agile generalist HR activities and advice, with the key areas of focus including:
- End to end recruitment/ talent acquisition.
- Learning & development
- Performance management
- Employee relations / conflict resolution
- Culture and engagement activities
- Data and file management
Working with designated department managers and staff across multiple business units you will advise, coach, and effectively partner to help identify, develop, and implement tailored solutions that endeavour to ultimately improve team performance and capability.
A key driver in ensuring a positive organisational culture which fosters our company, values/vision and mission, underpinned by continuous improvement and flexibility, this role will will champion HR activities throughout the entire business and continue to showcase the value and contribution the function has in boosting business performance.
The ideal candidate
With at least 3+ years’ experience working within a generalist HR role, backed by relevant tertiary education, you thrive in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and can juggle a multitude of priorities as you work cross functionally to execute the people strategy. Process driven, with a creative flair you have demonstrated experience working full funnel recruitment, with solid negotiation and sales skills which enable you to work through high volumes of candidates and successfully source top talent.
A positive and enthuastic person, you are an astute collaborator who builds rapport and trust with key stakeholders quickly, allowing you to effectively communicate with and present to all levels and facets of the organisation. A self-motivated, team player you use your growth mindset to motivate others to achieve their full potential by developing and implementing HR activities that help to address key engagement metrics.
With a solid understanding of employment law and best practise principles you thrive in advising people leaders, empowering them with the information and tools they need to effectively manage and enhance their team capability – always operating with high levels of integrity you can establish yourself as a trusted HR advisor.
