This role is available ASAP; it is a full time permanent role working in their offices in the Northern Gold Coast initially with the view to move to a hybrid work model working up to 2 days a week from home if you wish.

The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Establish the HR department with systems and structures and manage 2-3 direct reports
- Manage the quality assurance of training and the learning management system.
- Develop, implement and lead HR strategies, focusing on employee engagement, culture, training and overall business goals.
- Remuneration and benefits management including reward and recognition activities, implementing meaningful and creative programs including HRIS system.
- Manage people matters and support the team with generalist advice, providing guidance on company policies and procedures, people practices and employment law.
- Manage grievances, performance management, escalations and any IR/ER issues.
- Oversee the payroll process
- Analyze and prepare reports for management including but not limited to leave, absenteeism, turnover and costs.
- Policy & procedure development and oversee and help drive safety initiatives in the workplace
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a HR Management or Senior BP role.
- Someone who is strategic and systems orientated and well organised to create internal HR systems and processes but has the flexibility to adapt to support business needs as required
- Enthusiasm and motivation to step into a complex work environment and take on the challenge of this role with excitement and motivation.
- An excellent communicator who can relate in an effective manner across all level roles in the business.
- Someone eager to grow with the business and adapt to the ever changing environment and who thrives on working independently and in a tea
- Thorough knowledge of Australian employment laws and legislation
