You will be working with a medium-sized HR team and the HR Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in all facets of human resources management. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives.
- Provide leadership and support to the HR team.
- Lead the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent, including developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee the performance appraisal system, providing guidance to managers on performance issues and developing strategies to improve employee performance.
- Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Drive initiatives to improve organisational culture, enhance employee engagement, and promote a positive work environment.
- Develop and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a HR Generalist or equivalent.
- Experience in Health Care / NDIS industry
- Leadership: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interpersonal Skills: High level of emotional intelligence, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and trust within the organization.
