About the roleKantar is looking for an HR Operations Executive to join our fun and lively HR team in Sydney on a 6-month fixed-term contract! The role primarily assists and supports the local HR team by providing technical and administrative activities in conjunction with the regional HR Service Delivery team. There is a key focus on maintaining HR systems, data accuracy and employee experience. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for the coordination of confidential and time-sensitive material and has a familiarity with the practices and procedures of Kantar.
Responsibilities:- Ensure that People Operations consistently provides excellent service to all divisions and employees, focusing on improving accuracy, processes, and response times.
- Keep up-to-date with local legislation and ensure compliance.
- Update policies and processes in line with changes in local laws and company initiatives.
- Handle the onboarding and offboarding of regular and casual employees according to local market procedures.
- Arrange background checks as needed.
- Conduct orientation for new hires.
- Ensure that new hires are properly registered with the government.
- Maintain and update the HRIS system (Workday) to ensure data accuracy, including pay changes, new hires, and departures.
- Prepare and issue various employment-related letters (e.g., promotion, regularization, salary increase).
- Organise employee personnel files.
- Assist with benefits administration, such as wellness programs and year-end plaque preparations.
- Ensure compliance with HR requirements for audits.
- Handle employee queries through My Kantar Services (ServiceNow) and HR mailboxes.
- Generate reports and complete projects accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to achieve operational objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Generalist position.
- Proficiency in key software and systems: O365, ServiceNow, Workday, TimeFiler, Adobe Sign.
- Basic understanding of Australian and New Zealand legislation.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Capable of working independently.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and prioritization.
- Quick learner with adaptability to changes.
- Great team player, capable of collaborating with stakeholders and vendors at all levels.
