Address Job description Our client, a Federal Government Authority, is looking for HR Professionals with a range of skills to join their Townsville based team for various positions including functional HR through to project HR. Key areas of experiences includes policy, advice, HR systems, payroll, organisational culture and strategic workforce planning.EL1 HR Specialist – The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR with a proven track record in key aspects of the HR function and providing strategic HR support to senior management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing one or several HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, HR compliance and/or HR projects.
APS6 People Services Project Officer – The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of the HR functional areas, with a proven track record in delivering high level HR advice, service and support to internal customers and senior management. The successful candidate must be agile and adaptive and be able to move between different projects/work tasks.
APS3/4 People Services Support Officer – This position plays a key role within the People Services team and supports various people functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, workplace health and safety, workplace relations and workforce capability. Key tasks include assisting with onboarding new employees, entering data into spreadsheets, managing several busy Outlook mailboxes and managing employee records effectively. This position also provides secretariat support for various committees including the management of meeting dates, attendees, locations, quorum, agendas, minutes and action items.
To be considered for these roles you will have previous experience and knowledge of contemporary human resources practices and systems. You will also have experience dealing with stakeholders across different levels including both internal and external contacts. Experience across both project and functional HR is required as is the ability to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment.
Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this role as is the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance or above, as required by the Authority.
