Job description

Do you want to be a part of a team that promotes and improves the health of its people and community? This is an exciting time to join our People and Culture team as Human Resource (HR) Project Officer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver a new talent acquisition function for the North Metropolitan Health Service.
This is a vacancy for Fixed Term Full-Time appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension(s) and / or permanency. There are two (2) roles available.
The North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) is committed to growing the Aboriginal workforce as a part of our Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Strategy. As a measure to achieve equality, Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 applies to this position.
NMHS upholds the social model of disability. If you have any access needs or require adjustments to participate in the recruitment process, please contact Michelle Gillam on 6457 2970 or via email: .
About NMHS
NMHS covers almost 1000 square kilometres, with a population of almost 740,000, representing about 28 per cent of Western Australia’s total, and is projected to grow to more than 0.9 million by 2031. NMHS healthcare providers are fully accredited and offer a range of highly specialised, multidisciplinary, state-wide services from several hospital and outpatient/ambulatory care settings, as well as services specifically aimed at the north metropolitan catchment.
NMHS fosters an environment of equity and inclusion and strives to ensure everyone experiences a sense of belonging. We celebrate the rich diversity of our community and are committed to recruiting a team that is reflective of those we care for. We encourage anyone who aligns with our values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity to apply for this role.
About the role
The HR Project Officer assists with the planning, development and delivery of contemporary HR services for the NMHS. In this role, you will provide administration and project support for HR projects and initiatives, and you will provide direct support to NMHS managers for relevant HR administration functions.

  • task-led assessment centres for bulk recruitment.
This role reports to the Coordinator Talent Acquisition. Please see the job description form (JDF) attached for further information about the role.
What we are looking for

At NMHS, we aim to ensure our behaviours reflect our core values: Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity. During the selection process you will be assessed on your ability to fulfil the responsibilities of this position while upholding our values.
