Flexible Location - Gold Coast / Brisbane / Sydney / Adelaide

The Role

Reporting to the Chief People and Transformation Officer this newly created position, will play an important role in the achieve the people and growth strategy that Infinite Care is pursuing.

The focus of the position is threefold, firstly to build additional people capability by coaching, mentoring, and leading a team of up to eight P&C business partners and compliance specialists, secondly to work with a team of legal and other stakeholders to renegotiate multiple enterprise agreements over the next 12 months and thirdly to assist with the implementation of a new HRIS.

Key Responsibilities:
Coach and mentor team members to develop investigations skills, critical thinking and report and letter writing for improved people performance.
Provide advice to managers on the organisation’s award and EBA interpretation in consultation and plan industrial relation strategies with the CPTO.
Collaborate with other P&C team functions including Learning and Development; Work, Health & Wellbeing; Engagement and Capability; and Talent Acquisition.
Manage compliance requirements across Infinite to maintain contractual and legislative compliance.
Drive regular P&C initiatives, in line with agreed timelines including performance reviews, rostering and functional realignments and engagement initiatives.
Ensuring P&C policies, systems and procedures are fit-for-purpose and compliant with employment legislation, best practice, and the aged care standards.
Manage the remuneration structure and salary reviews, providing recommendations and competitive market research and assessment.
Complete monthly reporting on P&C data and initiatives as required and directed by the CPTO.
Be a role model for a culture among staff that is open to change and supports continuous quality improvement, collaboration, respect, and accountability.

About You

We hire on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not required. You do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a proven ability to work with a diverse range of people from varying backgrounds in an environment of rapid change. In addition to this we would envisage that you can demonstrate

Experience in employee relations and industrial relations, including knowledge and negotiating enterprise agreements.
Prior experience in business partnering, investigations, change management, performance management and conflict management.
Proven leadership and people development experience
A willingness to have forthright, robust conversations when required.
