About You:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Demonstrated and proven knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to employee and industrial relations, OHS and workers' compensation.
- Track record of influencing positive change and improving workplace performance and culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including providing timely advice, effective liaison, negotiation and influencing.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or an associated field.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Full cycle recruitment, including onboarding to various mine sites.
- Providing leadership in all areas of your portfolio, including employee & industrial relations, learning & development, workers' compensation, and rosters.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture and employee wellness.
- Conduct performance management processes including the effective delivery of performance feedback and coaching.
- Manage employee grievances and complaints, work conditions and employee wellbeing.
- Overseeing site manning schedules and rosters with the operations team.
- Liaising with the office admin regarding flight and accommodation bookings.
- Ensure all Human Resource matters are tracked in real time in the 4PS cloud software.
- Overseeing and publishing organisational Human Resource policies.
- Managing and formulating procedures for systematic retention, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of personnel records.
- Reporting staffing performance (including training, conduct and morale) and opportunities for improvement to top management.
- Ensuring awareness of customer Human Resource requirements throughout the organisation.
